School's officially over, though I'm not sure whether it's a good or a bad thing? HAHA it's not much of a difference if the teachers STILL give us work to do be it worksheets or forums online. Take China Studies for instance, we have this what we call "Independent Study" which would hold about 30% of our Alevel grade how great is that. Our tutors kept emphasizing the fact that we have to do thorough research of books on the topic we would be interested in embarking on and guess what, I don't even know what I want to research on besides the topic on women, or maybe the liberalization of china's mass media over the years. It is in fact annoying that the topic you might choose would be something your other friends might choose, so the competition would definitely be higher, in a way, to allow you to get a better score. But that's life you see, you can't stop them from choosing it because you yourself won't want to give up on a topic you will want to do either, everybody is selfish whether you want to believe it or not. I guess we can all learn lessons from all these competitions you face in JC but it all brings us down to a matter of time where we get used to these kind of shit. Haha

Anyway I should really start making trips down to libraries to look for materials on the changing economic role of women in china if I want to do a good proposal... Or maybe I should research more liberalization of the mass media as a backup plan if all fails. LOL I'm so drained thinking about this now.

So I was one of the few who was told by my president to come up with some dance steps for our open house, how lucky seriously I have no idea on what I'm going to do. LOL we were not even informed on the genre that we are doing and we're also given a deadline. honestly speaking I feel that I prefer group works as compared to individual cus more brains working together would make faster and more efficient processes as compared to working alone... But what the heck, just go with the flow la.
